You’d never know I was a fashion blogger based on the number of bright colors and loud prints in my closet, which is why I was pleased to see the rainbow of hues found on London’s catwalks. Whether you prefer the fresh sorbet shades or the notice-me neons, there is likely a color for you for Spring/Summer 2011.
I was thrilled to discover Frances Conteh exhibiting her splashy neons at the On/Off exhibition during London Fashion Week. I was instantly drawn to her colorful rack of knitwear and particularly mesmerized by a stained glass knit coat–which would look fabulous with plain black leggings and flats–and an architectural neon green silk neoprene skirt. If there’s one thing I must have from London’s catwalks, I’m pretty sure it’s that skirt. (And, at £248, it’s reasonable for a talented emerging designer’s ready-to-wear.)
